I have exceeded the annual mileage of my lease, what should I do?

You have several options.

  1. You can sell your vehicle before the end of your lease if you have set a high residual value to avoid having to pay the difference between the mileage noted on the lease contract and the actual mileage of the vehicle. See our guide on this subject: https://sellyourcars.ch/en/guides/how-can-i-sell-my-leased-vehicle

  1. List it on the sellyourcars platform to get the best possible offer for the buyback of your vehicle to avoid losing money when returning your vehicle.

  1. Use the platform: leasetransfer.ch to transfer your lease to someone else who would be interested in your vehicle.

  1. Take out a loan to pay off the lease balance and keep the vehicle. (Bank Migros has very good private credit rates)
